The Career Advancement Program exists for current Bowman County businesses interested in promoting growth and development in their current workforce to fill a special need or function. Businesses can apply for up to $5,000 to assist an employee in continuing education.

The Workforce Tuition Reimbursement Program exists to assist local businesses in workforce recruitment by providing employers the ability to help pay off student loan debt for new hires up to $5,000.

The Workforce Relocation Reimbursement Program exists to help local businesses provide additional benefits to new hires by reimbursing up to $5,000 in moving expenses.

PWDF has $5,000 Business Micro Loans available. These matching loans are for existing and start-up businesses in Golden Valley or Billings Counties at 2% below prime. Loan funds can only be committed to the extent available. The maximum loan cannot exceed $5,000.

The City of Casselton wants to encourage significant investment within the Renaissance Zone to improve deteriorating properties and to curtail the vacation of buildings and potential decline in tax base. Properties should be renovated or built to meet the needs of the community and should conform with the City’s comprehensive plan and land use plan.

With these tax exemptions, qualified projects can receive property and income tax exemptions of 100 percent for five years if investors develop or enhance properties in the Renaissance Zone.

VCDC is a non-profit organization created to encourage and support commercial, industrial and city development in Velva and the surrounding area. There are no paid employees, all time is volunteered by the directors and members.

Walsh County JDA funding applications must be presented in person to the Walsh County Job Development Authority Board of Directors.

The Traill County EDC Business Training/Certification Grant provides financial assistance to Traill County, North Dakota businesses for the purpose of workforce education, development and upskilling; workforce recruitment, expansion and retention; required training for new or existing employees (i.e. certifications or licensing); or hiring consulting firms to help improve business processes and efficiencies.

City sales tax and County Mill levy provide funds to primary sector businesses that can be used for equipment, real estate, working capital, job training costs and other specific needs.
